All good bike shops sell the Muc Off cleaners see our links page for a small selection. Very simple to use simply spray on agitate with the Muc Off brushes and rinse with a hose. If you are like me you will repeat this a couple more times to ensure the bike is in as new condition!!! It is Alkaline based so will not harm any components on your bike.

Muc Off Bike Spray, another essential for every biker. This product should be used every time you clean your bike with the bike cleaner spray all over the bike particularly in all of the moving parts, it will drive out any moisture ensuring all components are in tip top condition. All those of you with disc brakes need to be careful not to spray it too near the discs and calipers ( Not sure why as i am using good old brake blocks!!!!)

 

Muc Off De-Greaser

 

 

Muc Off De-Greaser, Another great Muc Off product i use this once every few weeks on the chain and gears etc. after removing the worst of the dirt with the bike cleaner spray this on leave for a few minutes and then agitate with the Muc off brushes it will remove any grease and dirt residue allowing you to re-grease the chain etc without worrying about just oiling over the stuck on crap.

Muc Off Brush Set , Yet again a another winner for Muc Off each brush has its special function starting from the right the large brush i use for cleaning the frame and my obsession with cleaning the walls of my tyres. The second brush in from the right i use in the harder to reach areas of the bike. The thin single bristle brush is great for getting in between the chain and gears. The U-shaped brush again is ideal for the chain and gears.

Finish Line Cross Country Wet Lube

 

Finish Line "cross country" wet lube is a chain lube designed for extreme weather and long distance riding,it is however quite thick so sand and fine grit can stick to it.

 

 

Prolink Chain Lube

Prolink chain lube: a thin pre ride lube designed to repel muck,mud and moisture and give reduced friction movement.Also wicked on cables. If this product is used before all rides chain cleaning is super easy! just remove chain after ride and wash with water and a brush and chain will come up like new

 

ProGold Lube

Another product from progold lubricants and must be the answer to sticking gear shifter and brake cables,have not got hold of any yet but l will track somedown soon buy it ! try it ! and tell all.

Finish line teflon grease. Great for headsets,hubs,stems,and cables,In fact does exactly what it says on the tube !

Hope sh1t shifter or obviously shit shifter ! is an alternative to Muc off same sort of thing and I have to confess Muc off is the daddy but if you cant get it, this stuff is better than having a dirty bike !!

Purple Extreme

Brilliant chain oil!! First thoroughly clean chain with a good degreaser and dry ,then carefully apply oil to the rollers and leave to dry overnight.Since using this oil I have had no rusty chains the morning after washing my bike and the chain seems to stay cleaner.It is costly stuff but it coats your chain with a waterproof high load bearing film that was developed for marine salvage equipment!
