Kenda Nevegal 2.35 MTB Tyre

I have been riding all sorts of trails with Kenda rubber. Since July 08 I've been riding hard pack mud, rock, roots and even soft wet mud, gravel and chalk. These tyres always surprise me to how much grip they offer. Although this doesn't mean you can hack it about everywhere,I would suggest you exercise a small amount of caution no mater where you're riding!
  • Can be used for either front or rear.
  • Stick-E rubber compound on the edges is soft allowing greater traction when cornering on rocks and forms over loose terrain.
  • Tall knobs designed to penetrate and hold on to loose terrain.
  • 40-65 PSI.

Maxxis High Roller 2.5 42a Super Tacky

Maxxis High Roller 2.5 Tyre

This is a very popular and versatile mountain bike tire, I purchased a set for a Cwm Carn Uplift day and since fitting them I really haven't looked back. The High Roller's ramped leading edges roll really fast, while the side tread provides  great stability at speed and a sharp edge to hold corners. These come in various compounds, I opted for the very popular 42a (super tacky) In my opinion they offered levels of grip I though were not possible, they do instill confidence in your offroad riding . The grooved center knobs provide straight-line control. The High Roller's tread design translates well to all mountain bike disciplines, including downhill, cross country, and freeride.

Halo Twin Rail Tyre
Since starting to commute to work on the old Marin Northside, the Kenda Kinetics have found to be rather draggy. This has allowed numerous roadie types to whoosh past me making me rather annoyed! So in order to save face and keep up with the lycra clad crew I purchased some rather nice Halo Twin Rails. The tyres utilize 2 central rails (ridges) for reduced buzz on hard surfaces, but features drive 'sleepers' between the 'rails' to give traction on loose surfaces. They also feature overlapping low profile knobs to avoid cornering knob flex and so provide positive steering. These are great for high or low pressures allowing this tyre to perform in almost all conditions... both on road and off road. Another useful feature of this tyre is that it has a built-in puncture protection system which should reduces flats when you accidentally run over broken glass left in the street thanks to late night yobbos after their drinking sessions!

  • Directional, universal front or rear tread.
  • Knurled ground contact points.
  • High quality carcass with beadlock.
  • Black skinwalls.
  • Funky Colours available.
